Thanks Steve for the fantastic course on Saturday 26 January 2013. Thoroughly enjoyable in a language all the group understood. Really managed to grasp the basics and now will enjoy practicing. Would recommend your course to anyone wanting to get to grips with their camera. Watch out David Baily!
Thanks for an enjoyable day on Sat 26th Jan. My enthusiasm has been rekindled and I look forward to hopefully seeing/photographing the northern lights when we go to Norway in March.
As you probably picked up I.T. is outside my comfort zone! It took a while to get rid of the exposure histogram on the monitor but I was more able to navigate through the guide book and sort it out! Thanks Eric
Hi Steve
I found it really useful on Saturday and easier to understand than previous courses. Unfortunately it’s a bit like software and if you don’t use it regularly you forget how to, so I need to make more effort to find the time to go out and do it this time and not revert back to auto.
I would like to do a day next year and will be in touch with you as I have the motivation but not the enthusiasm to keep doing it on my own when it goes pear shaped..

Thanks so much to Steve for running the very interesting and informative workshop on Saturday for YDMT. I picked up loads of tips and regained my enthusiasm for learning how to use my camera properly. In fact I was out practising my shutter speeds on waterfalls the very next day! I’d highly recommend that people join us for the workshop in September in Hawes!
I work closely with Yorkshire Dales Guides and my photography workshops can be combined with days or weekends of outdoor activities such as walking, mountain biking, caving or climbing
