Invoices are not raised until the quality and content of work provided meets the clients brief.Payment terms are 30 days from invoice.Copyright: Terms and premissions relating to the licensing of images are agreed in advance. In the absense of specific agreement to the conterary, all copyright remains with the photographer.

If you wish to use an image, please contact me first. I am often happy to make photos available free of charge for non-commercial purposes, provided you ask beforehand and the photo is credited, and linked to my site if used on the web.

Some photos are available for commercial use at sensible fees, for example rights managed, royalty fee or for editorial use. See my stock gallery.

Under all circumstances, copyright remains with the original photographer or author. Remember that copyright is protected under international law.

1. All of the descriptions of the goods and services within this site are accurate to the best of our knowledge. We will correct any errors as soon as we are aware of them.
All copyright in images is the property of the photographer, who is Stephen J Finch unless specifically stated otherwise (the copyright owner).
No rights are conferred in the purchase of a print. You must not use, copy, modify or share these images in any manner.
For any commercial enquiries, please contact me.
2. Delivery
We endeavour to dispatch orders within 7 days, often within 24 hours. Where my photo-shoot commitments may affect delivery times, a note will be shown on the website and your order confirmation.
3. Returns
The Colour settings and the type of the computer monitor that you use to view your image, ay have an influence on the perception of how your image should look. You should be aware that images viewed in the majority of web browsers are not colour accurate, and that prints may look slightly different on your equipment. As we cannot guarantee the accuracy of your monitor, we will not accept colour reproduction as a valid reason for return.
4. Damage
Damaged items will be exchanged free of charge.
We reserve the right to charge for re-posting returned orders, which have been especially produced to meet your personal requirements.
It is the customer’s responsibility to check for any damage that may have occurred during transit. Damage should be notified to us within 24 hours of delivery, so that we can claim compensation from the courier company on your behalf, and reprint the print for you.

Print Specifications

Prints are professionally produced, normally as matt which provides the best coulour reproduction once framed.Where prints are purchased unframed, we recommend that these are not handled prior to framing.Produced on an Epson Pro 7800, 8 colour printer using Epson Ultra Chrome K3 ink (matte black, light black, light black, cyan, light cyan, yellow, magenta and light magenta.)
The high density pigments of Epson Ultra Chrome K3 ink help to produce prints with an extremely wide colour gamut, so you can reproduce the colours seen when you captured the image.This is also a resin-coated pigment ink that achieves superb longevity and durability, smooth colour control and virtually no metamerism, ideal to use with fine art media and speciality paper.
Printed onto Photo Matt paper 220gsm with a Micro porous coating, designed to achieve the maximum colour gamut. Instant drying, smooth, sharp and smudge free.


Workshop terms

1. Payment for workshop places is taken upon booking

2. Prices and workshop details are those shown on our website on the day of booking

3. Any cancellation by the client must be made in writing, when the following charges will apply:

a. Less than 30 days – 50%
b. Less than 14 days – 75%
c. Less than 7 days – 100%

4. Where accommodation is required, the contractual arrangements of the accommodation establishment will apply directly between the clients and the accommodation provider. We recommend that clients consider suitable travel / holiday insurance

5. In the event that Steve has to cancel a workshop, a full refund for the cost of the workshops will be made. However we reserve the right to use an alternative trainer in which we have full confidence, if that alternative will prove less disruptive

6. We reserve the right to change the venue and itinerary if necessary. Any change will retain the same general location and will not incur any change in cost.

7. Steve Finch does not accept liability for any loss or additional expense caused by the delay or interruption to travel services through weather conditions, civil disturbance, industrial action, strikes, wars, floods or sickness. Such losses or additional expenses are the responsibility of the passenger

8. Clients are responsible for the security and safety of their equipment and transport arrangements where these are not specified within the workshop arrangements

9. Where outdoor or walking workshops take place, clients are responsible to ensure their health, experience and equipment are sufficient to meet the described activity. Steve accompanies clients on walks and outdoor activities as a ‘joint enterprise’ to provide his professional photographic expertise

10. During the photography courses, participants may be taken to a variety of indoor and outdoor photography locations. Every effort is always made to ensure your safety and enjoyment at all times, however, due to the very nature of photography, participants attend entirely at their own personal risk, and Steve Finch can accept no liability for injury or loss of any kind, however caused during the courses.

11. All photography course participants must be 16 years or over

12. Non-participant partners, family or friends may not accompany a photographer during the tuition, unless by prior arrangement. We will make every effort to meet the needs of those with disabilities, however the nature of some workshops, venues or associated physical activity may restrict our options

13. By attending a workshop, you hereby give permission (a License) for images taken of yourself to be used by Steve Finch for any promotional purposes. Copyright of all images remain with the photographer
